I’m sure that most of us have seen dynamo-powered flashlights as well as other kinetic-based watches. Generally, Sony is exploring the possibilities of introducing a twirling battery concept for their line of batteries, which promises to provide a quick power fix for any electrical devices.
Nevertheless, such battery concept has already been invented by Song Teaho and Hyejin Lee, but I believe that the battery concept lacks practicality, which hinders its progress from being mass produced for consumers. However, the concept is pretty interesting indeed, whereby you can apply such batteries to your cellphone and whenever you run out of battery juice, all you need to do is to twirl your battery and its good for more action.
Personally, I don’t really fancy such batteries – do you?
